The Search for the Midnight Wraith

+ I'm very annoyed that it was Gil who ran back into the burning bus to save Nancy. I get that they wanted to start building the Nancy/Gil relationship but they need to not do it at the expense of the others. There is no way I buy that none of them wouldn't have immediately run back in once they figured out she'd stayed behind. No way. They should have had them keep running into the woods and only once they were away notice that she wasn't with them, then they could have ran back just in time to see Gil helping her out.

+ Ace being angry at Nancy over the Aglaeca situation surprised me. Everyone went along with the Aglaeca plan, she didn't force them, hell they volunteered and kept forcing their help on her all season! And it's not like they could have killed Owen. (Though Owen dying immediately after makes me sigh so hard.) Plus this is Ace who drank what could have been poison because Nancy was sure it was water (I liked Nick bringing that up), and kidnapped Carson and did the whole hostage situation and has been fully in with all the shenanigans going on. It felt weird that he was the one criticising Nancy and I don't know that I bought it. It'd have made more sense for it to have been George or even Nick but not Ace (or Bess).

+ I liked that little moment in the bus where Nancy smilingly reminisces about meeting Nick, and he moves to George to secretly hold her hand. I also liked Nick and George's talk about having to tell Nancy.

+ I liked that George followed Nancy to the hospital and then had her back with Carson.

+ I like how the show continues to show the dichotomy of Ryan - him saving Nancy multiple times and being snarky with her but not actually trying to force himself into her life contrasted with him threatening Carson. He's trying to be a decent dad but he's also a Hudson. Also I'm glad that we're not done with Ryan's anger over the Drew's taking his daughter because I feel like that's an anger that deserves to be addressed more.

+ The scarecrows were creepy.

+ Gil's negotiating over the mirror while dying would have worked better if he'd had the mirror hidden and they actually did need him to get it.

+ The lack of any acknowledgement of Owen and his death bugged me. I really wish instead of killing him he'd survived and then left town, with him and Nancy breaking up.
