The Vampire Diaries
1. The character I first fell in love with: Hmm… difficult to say. I guess Damon who entertained me from the very first episode.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Stefan. I thought PW was ugly in promo shots, and was fairly neutral about him in the first half a dozen episodes but then he kind of snuck up on me with his aweseomeness
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: … Alaric? I’ve read a lot of love for Alaric and I do like him but I don’t love him. He isn’t even in my top five. [I also feel like I should love Bonnie more than I do.]
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: I have no idea about where fandom is but considering this is fandom I’ll take a stab and say Elena. I adore her and think she’s awesome but she’s the main female character so there are good odds she’s hated. (I hate so much that this is probably very true.)
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer: None. The show hasn’t really been on long enough. But I suppose if I had to put something I would say I liked Matt more at the beginning of the season than I did by the end.
6. The character I would shag anytime: Damon. I can’t help it – he’s hot!
7. The character I'd want to be like: Elena. I really do think she’s a wonderful person and a great friend. She’s empathetic, considerate, smart and far more outgoing and sociable than I am.
8. The character I'd slap: Damon, fairly often. Killing Lexi and Bree deserves a bit more than a slap though.
9. A pairing that I love: Stefan/Elena/Damon – because why should she have to chose? It’s practically fate here. Not to mention canon. OT3 forever! (Oh, why couldn’t this show have been on HBO so there could be a possibility of actually getting it?)
10. A pairing that I despise: I don’t despise any one pairing. I don’t like Damon/Bonnie as most of the parts of fandom I’ve come across seem to.
11. Favourite character: Elena Gilbert! Keep being awesome!
12. My five favourite characters: Elena, Stefan, Damon, Bonnie… Caroline. (Though since she’s been on Anna has rapidly making her way up my favourites list) (eta: And as of the finale she would be in place of Caroline.)
13. My five least favourite characters: … sticking to the main characters – Jeremy, Vicki, Tyler, Jenna and Matt are my least favourite though I don’t actually dislike any of them.

True Blood
1. The character I first fell in love with: Sookie. I wasn’t expecting it and was nervous about the character going in because I knew there was a lot of hate for her but by the end of the first episode I loved her. Her taking on the Rattray’s was awesome.
2. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: ...Pam. There are actually a couple who could fit here (I almost picked Terry instead) but I was so happy with her becoming a main character that it made me realise how much I love her.
3. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Jason. I almost put Lafayette because everyone adores him and I only really like him but no it’s got to be Jason who I like sometimes, fast-forward a lot of the time and wouldn’t miss if he disappeared.
4. The character I love that everyone else hates: Sookie. She is definitely not a Mary Sue and some of her flaws include being self-absorbed, and aggressive, and having no sense of self-preservation. She acts before thinking and does stupid stuff. She irritates me sometimes but I like her regardless. She cares, and is so strong and self-confident and she doesn’t let people push her around. She stands up for other people, and doesn’t let her fear control her nor has she allowed everything she’s heard in other people’s minds make her a bad person or cynical.
5. The character I used to love but don't any longer:...Tara? I don’t know that I loved her but I really liked the character in the beginning and as time has gone on I’ve liked her a little less (even as I feel sorrier for her.)
6. The character I would shag anytime: Eric. Though more in a Sookie way and not a Yvette way.
7. The character I'd want to be like: Lafayette – completely himself, unashamed and unafraid, as well as caring and wise in a lot of ways.
8. The character I'd slap: Oh, so many. I think almost all the characters needed a smack at one point or another. I’ll say Lettie Mae. Tara deserves so much better.
9. A pairing that I love: Sookie/Eric.
10. A pairing that I despise: Despise is a bit strong. I don’t think I despise any pairing. I don’t ship Sookie/Sam at all. I don’t care for any Jason pairing but especially not Jason/Eric.
