Wynonna Earp 4x01 Thoughts

iariaHoly cow, it has been so long since season 3. Over 2 years. I was a little confused at the start of this episode and I probably should have rewatched season 3 before starting the new season. But the main impression I have of that season is that I found it very meh.
On the Road Again
I enjoyed this episode.
+ I'm definitely intrigued by the mystery of the garden.
+ Nicole calling Wynonna her best friend and their exchange over it - aww! I loved Nicole's tiniest smile when she said "you're such an Earp". Their fighting road trip together was very fun. I loved Nicole choosing to save Wynonna at the end.
+ I love that Waverly, confused and forgetful, immediately chose Wynonna's book.
+ "You don't get to vanish. You're architecture!" LOL. Just the way Wynonna yelled the second part was so funny. The humour throughout the episode was great. I also loved this exchange:
"Do you have a sex toy that can find a mysterious place no one else can?" - Nedly
"It's called a g-spot Nedly." - Wynonna
+ Wynonna and Nedly were great. It was nice to see Mercedes. The three of them together was fun.
+ I like Rachel.
+ Oh man, Wynonna having to be quiet? That's like that hardest task ever for her. You'd think after the 1000th time acting impulsively (and by herself) blows up in her face she'd learn, but no.
+ All the mentions of Dolls made me wonder for a second if they might bring him back. Alas no.
