I really loved it. Bittersweet and sad with wonderful acting and just beautifully realistic all around. There were some nice bits of humour. It made me cry a lot. I'm glad I decided to watch it.

Milly and Jess's relationship was amazing and beautiful. I loved them so much. I also liked that it had it's downsides and the movie didn't shy away from that.

One of my favourite moments was when they were dancing on the Moors and the line gets to ‘I don’t know if I can do it’ and Jess turns her face away into Milly’s shoulder.

I loved that Milly was there for the birth of Jess's son and there to support Jess. I didn't think it would happen and it was a lovely scene.

I loved that it was Jess with Milly when she died and their final scene together. I liked the scene after when Kit walks in and that moment of grieving when he lies down beside her.

I liked the Milly/Kit and Jess/Jago relationships a lot so that was really nice.

At first I was ugh really about Milly's affair with Ace but I ended up liking that whole plotline. Ace was a sweetheart and I can absolutely see why she did it in light of the breakdown between her and Kit. It made me sad for them because they were lovely but Milly's scenes with Ace were nice. Sweet. That said I was really happy when Milly and Kit finally sat down and were honest with each other and finally had sex and made up. I like that he accepted some blame and understood why she did it and forgave her. I loved that in the end they were together and happy and in love.

I did feel sorry for Ace who met this woman he clearly really liked and then got dumped. Did he know she was married?

I appreciated that Kit and Jago had their own relationship even if we didn't see much of it. Their commiseration over lack of sexy times and joking they should just have sex with each other was great. I loved that Jago was there for Kit after the birthday fiasco. I liked that Jago wanted to tell Kit about the baby because they were friends.

I really liked what was done with Miranda. She and Milly had very conflicting personalities but she was trying. I loved her secretly taking the lock of Milly's real hair. I loved that at the end she helped Milly escape from the hospice so she could be with Jess.

I wish that Kit had shown up at Jess's hospital room immediately after she gave birth to give Milly an exasperated look and Jess a kiss and that he'd been there a part of the group.

I liked the scene where Milly first gets her wig and has her hair shaved off. Everything about that scene was excellent. Jill was absolutely lovely. (I kind of wish we'd had another scene with her, perhaps later in the movie with Miranda.)

I liked the chemotherapy scenes too. Nurse Sam and his interactions with Milly and Jess were great.

I didn't see it ending any other way but I am so glad that the two families remained just as close, if not closer, after Milly's death.

That was the nicest hospice room I've ever seen.

The, possibly literally only, thing I actively disliked about the movie was Jago getting Miranda to film Jess giving birth while his co-workers are also in the room and watching. WTF, dude?! NO!
