Nancy Drew 2x04 Thoughts

I love the idea of Ryan and Carson working together to figure out what the hell is going on with Nancy (and presumably how to help her.) I really loved Carson giving Ryan advice on how best to approach Nancy because she won't talk to him but she might talk to Ryan. I like how things as tense and passive-aggressive between them but Carson understands Ryan's anger and hurt, and Ryan coming around to understanding Carson.
The Ryan/Nancy scene was nice. I liked Nancy admitting she might have a mild interest in figuring out a relationship with Ryan and Ryan's reaction (his smile to himself!)
I loved Ryan solving the puzzle and then gloating over doing it before Nancy.
I liked George's storyline with her sister. Their final scene was very sweet.
I was surprised that with all they learned of Odette they didn't consider trying to help her as a solution over trapping her. That she was still just a monster. I loved that Nancy tried reaching out to her and I hope she continues that in the next episode. She has Odette's love letters and the letter from Agnes and I hope she turns them over to the historical society. I want them to save/free her over trapping or killing her. That would just feel too unfair and cruel.
I appreciate that George didn't say 'I love you' back to Nick. It was a really sweet scene.
That Nick/Nancy scene felt a little like Nancy regretting their break up. I hope the show isn't going in the direction of a love triangle. Please no. That said I do like Nancy getting to know Nick better as a friend.
Bess not even calling Lisbeth to tell her she wasn't going to make it to the dinner was deeply rude.
So Nancy mentions Owen's name but still no sign that she's grieving. I really need to let go and move on since the show appears to have but it just irritates me so.
