Nancy Drew 2x07 Thoughts

I loved that the guys mostly ended up babysitting 'scared' college girls while the girls did the investigating.
Nick begging Ace not to go made me lol and I loved his confused face at the girls' conflicting advice. Ace's disgusted reaction to pancakes in the oven was great.
It was kind of nice to have no supernatural element to the case. I loved the hotel owner playing up the haunted idea as a tourist draw.
I loved Nancy sitting down and comfortingly rubbing a hand down George's back - and George not pulling away or telling her off for it.
"Wait, you did an exorcism without me?" - Bess. LOL
I love that Nancy sent Ace a text simply asking him 'to meet her somewhere in 30 minutes and she'll explain when she gets there' and he does it without any questions.
Nancy and Ace having a private server is great.
Ryan and Nick working together to take down Everett is interesting. I wonder if Carson's going to get even more involved? Also curious about why Nick is keeping this a secret from the others.
I get George's reasoning for keeping the possession a secret but it's such a terrible idea.
Nancy hesitating over what to put as her last name makes me think the show will have her put Hudson in order to tie it into the Ryan/Nick plot and complicate/mess it up but if so I really don't know that I buy it. Nancy having identity issues and struggling with who she is makes sense. Nancy going forward in an official way as Nancy Hudson doesn't. She's only just accepting her relationship with Ryan and that she wants one with him but she definitely has no interest in being a Hudson. Plus after a short while angry at Carson she returned to accepting that he was her dad. It wouldn't make character sense to have her do it.
The Hudson Will makes me think Nancy's going to end up with the Hudson empire at some point.
Nancy's boyfriend being murdered would have more pathos if we'd gotten any sign of her mourning him this season.
