Catch the Tail
Ji Ah being the main host of Imugi was a great twist.
I liked Ji Ah telling Imugi that he was a person not a monster. I liked that she empathised with him over his backstory because it was terrible and unfair and horrifying, but that hearing it didn't actually change her mind on him.
I loved the reveal that Yeon, and him using his power to kill the shaman, was the final ingredient needed to free he Imugi.
I loved getting to see Yeon's love for Rang and him promising the unconscious Rang that "I will never abandon you. I’ll save you."
Poor Yoo Ri (and Rang). It was a horrifying situation to be put in and her grief and confused despair were well portrayed. I do love that it was Yoo Ri using the skills and weapon that Rang gave her that she used against him. I like those kind of ironies.
I loved the Rang/Yoo Ri flashbacks. They were adorable. My favourite moment was her following him, getting told off and it ending with her chasing him while both laugh. So cute!
I am very surprised that Rang and Yoo Ri have only known each other 5 years. That seems really off. It's such a short time especially considering their lifespans and they seems far too close.
Ji Ah giving Yeon a couples ring was sweet.
I loved Yeon taking the advice of a gift and giving Ji Ah's parents a new vehicle. Heh.
Yeon actually does work - granted it's hunting down supernatural creatures who've broken the (supernatural) law and killing them - but it's still work!
I was surprised that Rang didn't fight back against Yoo Ri. Sure, he was surprised by her attack and wouldn't want to hurt her but he's also much stronger and more powerful than her. And he does in fact have a desire to live. It might have worked better if she'd taken the kill shot at his neck which incapacitated him enough for her to stab him a bunch more times.
It's a bad idea to keep Ji Ah's parents in the dark. What did they tell them about the missing 20 years (and especially how they haven't aged?) She already knows that they knew, and worried about, Ji Ah being different, and they know Imugi is out there willing to damage the people around them. Not telling them everything is a terrible idea.
The fact that only Ji Ah's parents were released, even though Yeon tried to free all the people, in addition to Imugi running around planting suggestion bombs in various people makes me think that her parents are also a trap in some way.
I find it hard to believe that no one noticed Sae Rom and Jae Hwan standing on the roof of that building for hours. Also that the Imugi's compulsion to fly would disappear just by Shin Joo pulling them off the ledge.
