It was okay.
+ My biggest issue by far was basically the existence of Jeep. I'd have felt differently about the movie if it had been centred on Charlie and the entire thing had been her journey. Take Jeep out and make Charlie the prophesized protector of the child. She's the mother - why does there need to be someone else? That's a good journey for the character: not wanting the child but being unwilling to not have it and her struggle with it, scenes with Michael of her coming to terms with her feelings to her wanting to protect her child no matter what to ending with Michael passing the role of protector to her. She gets the tattoos and the final solitary facedown with Gabriel (or with Audrey). No need for Jeep.
+ As for Jeep himself he seemed okay at first but I grew rapidly annoyed with his attitude towards Charlie and her child. That she opens up to him about her attempted abortion and hating that the pregnancy felt out of her control and him responding by gently chastising her for thinking like that. How about you fuck off Jeep? Just no to everything. (I was getting the same feeling with them that I got with Charlie/Claire/Aaron from Lost. These are not good emotions.) His unrequited love for her and the fact that he's the divinely chosen protector for her child both left me with a lot of nope at the end.
+ Audrey was great. She was actually my favourite character. I loved her grabbing Michael, noticing what Jeep was doing by speeding up and then choosing to sacrifice herself in telling him to do it.
+ In general the characters were all fine (minus my issues with Jeep). I liked Charlie, I liked Kyle, what little we saw of Howard I liked, Percy was nice, I was fine with Bob. Michael was enjoyable. Sandra was the weak link and while she was supposed to be a character you dislike I wasn't a fan of her portrayal.
+ That Michael/Gabriel exchange in the diner before their fight was excellent. Loved everything about the two of them.
+ The trumpet introduction of Gabriel was excellent. Also liked Michael's light filled entrance at the end.
+ I didn't like that most of the men went up to the roof to defend and all the women were left in the diner without guns. Well, Charlie got a revolver for self-protection though as more a last result. I don't buy Michael not loading everyone up with a gun each. It annoyed me.
+ I'd have liked more of everyone dealing with the WTFness of the whole 'angels wiping out humanity because God is done with us' revelation.
