WandaVision Episode 5

+ Pietro! That was a delightful surprise. Evan Peters was my favourite of the two Pietros (though that accent was horrendous.) But the 'recast' was a little weird. I liked what we saw of the relationship between Wanda and Pietro in Age of Ultron and doing this recast, while hilarious and fun, also takes away a lot of the emotional oomph and tragicness of them meeting again.
+ Wanda saying that she didn't know how this started in the first place was very interesting. I believe her but is it because someone started this or is it because she's buried the knowledge too deep? She also seemed genuinely surprised to see Pietro.
+ Wanda explains to the boys that she can't reverse death. Pietro showing up 'recast' makes it more likely she was telling the truth. But then that brings us the issue of Vision. When we got a glimpse of him in the last episode he looked as he did when he died and yet the Vision we see seems very real, very in line with the Vision we know. Is he only an illusion? Or perhaps the fact that she got her powers from the Mind Stone and so did he gave them a connection that allowed her to bring back his 'soul' and stick it in his dead body?
+ I liked the Wanda/Vision fight. It was very intense. I liked that we got to see him angry and scared and figuring things out. Her quiet threatening 'can't I' and his reaction was excellent. I loved the credits starting to roll over their fight. I loved that they both took to the air in their anger. Vision confessing that he was scared was sad and excellent acting by Bettany.
+ I'm enjoying the team of Monica, Jimmy and Darcy a lot.
+ So the pain that everyone feels is absolutely the pain in Wanda's head, leaking out to all those under her power, yes?
+ I loved seeing Wanda as herself (not playing a role) and outside the town. The confrontation with SWORD was great.
+ It took till the commercial in this episode for me to realise, duh, they represent the major points of trauma in Wanda's life - Stark, Hydra, Lagos. Now I can't remember if there was another I forgot about for Pietro/Ultron.
+ Very curious about who Monica was texting. It has to be someone we know right?
+ Monica's reactions to Carol being brought up make me think she's has some serious unresolved issues with her. I wish there was a chance Carol could show because I really want to see them interact.
+ Monica's scans being blank is a little worrying. Could she still be affected by the Hex/Wanda?
+ I was hoping that Director Hayward would turn out to be a good guy but this is the MCU and sure enough he's turned out to be a massive dick. The worst part for me isn't secretly sending in a missile and trying to kill Wanda (though that was a deeply stupid decision), it was his condescending assholery towards Jimmy, Darcy, and especially Monica.
Also the fact that SWORD had Vision's body was kind of disturbing. How the heck did that happen? I can't see Tony/Steve/Natasha/Bruce letting them have it after the Snap so when and how did they get it? Also him being in pieces and experimented on is also not respecting his wishes Director. Dick.
