Breathe
Good episode.
+ I loved seeing Lexie and Mark. Their scenes with Meredith were great though I was left wanting more. Especially with Lexie and Meredith where I wanted them to talk about their relationship even a little. To hear a 'I miss you' or 'I love you'. Also while I am so pleased they showed up at the same time I am sad Derek didn’t show up again to make it a full reunion. Missed opportunity show!
+ While I'm enjoying seeing all these dead characters Meredith's reactions on the beach feel off. I really noticed it with Deluca when we didn't more than smiling acceptance and I noticed it here too. It's also stuck out multiple times when her children are discussed with her lack of urgency over them and lack of desire to return to them. At this point I have to assume it's on purpose. That being on that beach affects her - it's a place of peace and tranquility and she can't feel anything other than that. So she can get gently frustrated but she isn't capable of feeling anger/rage or despair or grief. There's no urgency. She's in a bubble.
+ Loved loved loved Cristina texting Owen about Meredith. Her demanding that he send her a pic of Mere's monitors and refusing to trust him, and the implication that this has been an ongoing thing, was great. [What would have been even awesomer is if when Owen started walking off-screen exasperatedly he'd gotten another text ding and when he looked it was from Alex asking about Mere and we get him rolling his eyes and sighing.]
+ I liked Jackson casually helping Maggie into her cover gown and them being so friendly with each other.
+ Koracick worrying over Meredith was great and I like how it lead to Owen actually showing compassion towards him. It was a nice exchange.
+ I liked everyone dancing around in joy when Meredith begins breathing on her own.
+ Winston hasn't really been around that long but I like him and he and Maggie are sweet, so the engagement is nice.
+ Have we seen the mother and daughter interns before?
