17x11 – Sorry Doesn't Always Make It Right

+ I realise these have been really tough months for Amelia and Link and I 100% get their need to be away from the kids because kids are draining. But at the same time them letting Link’s parents take all the kids for a trip made me go 'uh, really'?

+ I enjoyed the start/stop on Link proposing to Amelia.

+ Meredith waking up to Richard was such an abrupt scene. What the heck? Richard's low-key reaction, the lack of any reaction from anyone else, no celebrations, no Richard telling anyone about it - honestly it had me wondering if it had really happened or if Richard hadn't just imagined it. It was weird.

+ I did like that Richard was the one who was there when she first woke and their little moment was sweet.

+ I liked Bailey’s advice to her patient about his marriage and his reaction to it and I thought it being what caused Owen to re-evaluate Teddy and their relationship, and (in addition to Amelia's words last episode) finally move him towards forgiveness and reaching out to Teddy believable.

7x13 'Good As Hell'

+ I'm very glad that Meredith is finally awake and on the road to recovery. I love that she woke with Zola sitting and talking to her though I think we should have heard Zola's voice on the beach. I loved Meredith telling Zola "we love you so much".

+ I actually liked everyone reiterating that they needed her to survive just before she woke up - it was about her surviving because of who she is and that they love her but it was also because they all desperately needed a big win after so much trauma and horribleness, and they needed to not lose another person. [And Amelia needs to not be a mother for four.]

+ Maggie is so lovely with Zola.

+ I liked the Meredith/Derek beach scenes. I loved them laughing over Amelia, I liked the wedding and I loved him holding her close as he sent her back to be with their children.

+ Winston's suggestion 'that could get him fired' being to bring Zola to see Meredith was a great idea but also makes me laugh because that is such small fry compared to what the doctor's at Grey Sloan get up to. He'll learn.

+ I liked that Winston didn't only want Meredith to wake up because she's Maggie's sister but that because she's THE Meredith Grey.

+ I loved the little circle of misunderstanding - Amelia's panicked rush to the hospital and then when reassured that there was no change her mini-break down about needing Meredith to survive (that was a great little moment), which in turn led a returning Richard and Winston to worry that something had gone wrong.

+ I liked the Koracick/Link scene.

+ I wish the show would drop Schmidt/Levi. They are terrible.
