+ What the hell was with that Meredith reaction to being told DeLuca was dead? A part of me wondered if they’d make the beach interactions cause Meredith to be at peace with his death but that? That had better not be all we get. DeLuca deserves better and while I didn’t ship them Mere/DeLuca deserved more. There should be a scene of mourning and opening up about how special he was to her to someone (Carina, or Jo).
+ Koracick deciding he needed to leave took me by surprise. They are really shedding cast this season, yeesh. It's a bummer. The reasoning behind it was fine but I'm going to miss him. He's actually one of my favourite characters and I was curious about what they were going to do with him. I guess they weren't sure.
+ Jackson’s goodbye moments were nice. His words for Bailey and Richard were lovely and I loved their realisation after he left that he was now their boss. I’m glad that him telling Jo was so angst free but not even a hug? I loved his scenes with Meredith. I loved them gleefully escaping the clapout together and him helping her home. All quick flashbacks were nice to see.
+ I know Jackson and Maggie were kind of a drag but not even a goodbye?
+ While I loved the escape from the clapout what Jackson said about it wasn’t wrong. This was a big moment for everyone else, a big win, and Meredith should have sucked it up and let them have it. I get she bucks tradition but in this case she should have gone along with it.
+ I loved this exchange:
Owen: Meredith’s house has this power. Like a magnetic pull. Karev used to call it 'the sister house’ because no matter who else lives there you’re just kind of in their orbit.
Linc: You’re making it sound like a coven. It’s just a house.
+ I loved the little we got of Amelia and Meredith - their smiles at each other when Meredith got home and Meredith reassuring Amelia that she did a great job.
+ Maggie asking Richard to officiate her wedding was really sweet of her and I loved how moved Richard was.
+ The Jo/Carina moment about Deluca was lovely.
+ I liked Schmidt being there for Helm and how supportive he was.
+ Winston explaining how happy Mere’s house with the nice smells and happy kids makes him was cute.
