I liked it.
+ The mystery and truth about everything came together really well. All the hints were laid out nicely. I loved the resolution. I’m intrigued by the left over mystery of the new focus being June 15, 2678.
+ I love that Finch was sent back to say the “nonsignificant” kittens that were being drown and the reveal that they could now go back into the past to save anything that would be completely destroyed. There is so much they could do with that!
Of course there is a larger moral question left unanswered – there are more ‘nonsignicicants’ that can be saved other than objects (library of Alexandria) or animals (drowned kittens) – people! There are a lot of people who also died in such ways (like, most of Pompeii) who could be saved. So should they save them?
Also while I appreciate the kittens being saved are they all really ‘nonsignificant’? Because becoming a part of the ecosystem isn’t really nonsignificant. Maybe a fish ate one of the kittens and lived when it otherwise would have died from lack of food, which was later fished by a young kid who only survived from lack of food because they caught it, and would later go on to become a very significant person in history? I guess since the universe is in charge of allowing everything it simply wouldn’t let them save and bring back anything that would be significant.
+ I liked the Ned/Verity romance.
+ I liked Baine/Callahan but I wish we’d seen something of what he saw in Tossie. She was mostly annoying.
+ I liked Finch getting really into being a butler.
