The sequence where Loki is processed by the TVA was great. There is no way that short stack of papers is all that Loki has said in his life. I loved his second guessing if he was a robot.

I liked Mobius a surprising amount. I've never really liked Owen Wilson but I already love him as Mobius. I like Mobius's sense of humour and his ruthlessness (nice to the girl even as he tells his men to set the reset charge, taking the reset baton into his office). His interactions with Loki are great. I love that he does seem genuinely fascinated by Loki. I like the mix of cruelty and gentleness.

I hope Casey is reoccurring because his short scene with Loki was very fun.

I loved seeing Loki's reaction to his mother's death (and how much time was spent on it), then later to Odin's and his own deaths, and to him and Thor making up (the smile!) Honestly I wish we'd spent more time with Loki surfing through his timeline and reacting to it. I wonder if he thinks Thor died on that ship too? Actually - does that mean that Loki was still alive until the ship exploded? Loki was doing a bunch of random skipping which makes me wonder if it was all pre-set for Mobius's interrogation and ending it with 'grieving Thor's death' was simply the last bit of manipulation? It makes me curious about the clips he chose in that case.

The whole idea of the TVA with their 'reseting' deviant timelines (aka murdering trillions of lifeforms ever single time) and how all sapient creatures are thus forced into pre-set paths is horrifying. Not just for Loki but for all the characters. But yes, especially Loki in this moment. I can't wait for Loki (or Wanda/Strange) to burn it all down, and it's only the first episode.

I wonder if the Timekeepers are going to become a big bad in the MCU?

I am enjoying the whole 'normal bureaucracy within a powerful and terrifying situation/group'.

I liked the glimpse we get into how things played out with Loki meeting Thanos via his interactions with Judge Renslayer. As Mobius says later "wooing someone powerful he intends to betray".

Loki using the collar on Hunter B-15 and playing with it was a fun idea but terrible optics with them having cast a black woman in the role.

I had a very 'no!' reaction to Judge Renslayer calling him Loki Laufeyson. I wish in the recap Loki had seen (and us seeing his reaction) him naming himself Loki Odinson to Thanos.

Why are the agents even bothering to grab the Variants and give them a trial? What's the purpose of it? The fact that the guy ahead of Loki was summarily reset when he didn't have a ticket showed how hollow the whole 'trial' process is. Has there ever been a Variant who didn't get reset after their 'trial'?

Is this official confirmation of the Endgame writers 'Steve was in the main timeline all along' idea? Hard NO from me. It doesn't make sense to me based on what we got from Endgame. It murders Steve as a character. Just, no. Perhaps Steve went back and created like a pocket timeline that was allowed to survive until he came back as old!Steve to pass on his shield? (And then the TVA reset his improved pocket timeline.) I approve of that as an idea.
