I loved Gwang-ho repeating Ho-young's words from their interrogation 30 years ago and Ho-young's freaked out reaction was as amazing as I could have hoped.
I liked Sun-jae, taking Jae-yi's words, and deciding to act as a type of bait in order to get a confession.
Sun-jae being at the team dinner was great to finally see; Sun-jae being handcuffed to Tae-hee was hilarious. I loved that reveal so much. I also loved them all degrading into fighting and Min-ha losing his cool and yelling/scolding them all. Ha.
I loved Jae-yi giving them advice on how to get to Ho-young while still in her hospital bed.
Dr. Mok is absolutely going to get himself caught by continuing to involve himself. Him going to the prison to visit Ho-young feels like a critical error on his part.
Of course Dr. Mok does have something over our band of heroes - 2016 Gwang-ho's body. He still has it on ice, his death is still a secret, and while it hasn't been mentioned in a number of episodes I'm pretty sure it's going to come back to bite everyone in the ass.
The flashback to kid Yeon-ho desperately blowing her whistle for her mom was so sad.
I really appreciate the relationship Jae-yi has with Dean Hong. Despite being, and feeling, alone for so many years Jae-yi has had Dean Hong on her side since she was 15 when Dean Hong essentially saved her, and she's been there for Jae-yi since. It's nice. I'm glad that Jae-yi has had someone on her side, caring about her, for half her life. I hope that gets acknowledged at some point. She's not Jae-yi's parent but she's still important.
I loved how compassionate Sun-jae was when he was telling Gwang-ho about Jae-yi.
Gwang-ho becoming all over-protective of Jae-yi and deciding Sun-jae is no longer allowed to maybe date her, after spending most the show actively encouraging them, isn't really a surprise but still leaves me meh. I hope the show drops this soon.
The Sun-jae/Ho-young fight was excellent. I loved Sun-jae elbowing out the car window and dragging Ho-young out even after several punches to the face. I like how down and dirty, how vicious, the fight was.
I was very impressed with the lie detector interrogator. He did a great job and Sung-shik should attempt to steal away to work for him instead.
It should have been a sting operation! It's not Sung-shik's fault she didn't tell anyone.
