Loki Episode 4 Thoughts

Mobius being pruned so suddenly was such a shock. That was a great wtf moment. As was Loki being pruned but with him I was 100% sure he wasn't actually dead.
I find myself pretty neutral about Loki/Sylvie. I enjoy their interactions. I like how they affect each other. They've had some nice scenes. I love the idea that it's two Lokis coming together and learning to trust each other that's going to take down the TVA (I assume). Them ending up in a romance isn't that unexpected - and that's kind of the problem I'm having. If this story was conceived with the Sophie version as male there is no way they would make their connection romantic and that's kind of infuriating on several levels. It's homophobic and it's sexist as hell. Like if a woman is involved thoughts immediate fall back to romance, ugh. It makes me wish they show had kept it platonic between them. Self-siblings.
I think the biggest issue I'm having is that the timeline is too compressed. Both Loki&Sylvie and Loki&Mobius feel like the relationships have progress too quickly. It's been days! Weeks at most for Loki&Mobius and I enjoy them but friends? Since when?
Was it mainly their emotions that set off the nexus event? Does this mean Loki and Sylvia could blow up the sacred timeline simply by kissing? I am here for that!
I loved that scene in the rain between Sophie and Hunter B-15. I loved B-15 seeking out Sylvie on her own and her decisiveness, I loved Sylvie's sympathy and B-15 immediately choosing to help her was great. I really hope she wasn't killed.
I liked the Sylvie flashback and I loved how different in tone her processing (terrifying, dark) was to Loki's in ep 1 (humourous).
Renslayer being the Hunter to grab Sylvie was a great choice. I was surprised by how obviously Renslayer enjoyed telling Sylvie she didn't remember why her timeline was reset because that was just cruel. Renslayer didn't seem like a cruel person so it makes me wonder what consequences Sylvie's escape had on her and if she's placed all the blame for it on Sylvie? Definitely interested in seeing where this relationship ends up.
I enjoyed Renslayer and Mobius's friendship. I believe that the feelings there were sincere. She ordered him purged without a blink but she had to turn away as he disappeared. Poor Mobius.
I'm curious about how Sylvie managed to get that old without affecting the timeline. I realise Loki's gender is fluid but does this mean he always could have been the Goddess of Mischief instead? Was he sometimes female as a kid?
