Journey Into Mystery

+ I loved Loki joining hands with Sylvie and them enchanting Alioth together. I was getting flashbacks to the end of GotG 1.

+ Seeing the various Lokis and watching them interact was fun. The best part was watching our Loki (and his delightful expressions) as he interacted and observed them.

+ Loki's exasperation and 'for fucks sake' expression as the Loki showdown devolved into an all out Loki brawl was excellent.

+ "And, whenever one of us dares try to fix themselves they're sent here to die" I really wish the show would delve into this more especially with our Loki.

+ I love alligator!Loki. I love how kid!Loki carries him around like a beloved pet. I love Loki's flummoxed reaction when he realises he's actually a Loki. Him biting off President!Loki's hand was ridiculous and hilarious. I love that he's given reaction shots. I'm choosing to believe he turned himself into an alligator to trick Thor and got stuck because I find that funniest.

+ Old!Loki was wonderful. I liked that he got his own mini-arc about believing in himself, in learning to believe that people could change, and then changing himself and finding his 'glorious purpose' in helping other Lokis. I liked that he spoke alligator. I liked how powerful he was. I liked that he was clever enough to escape not only Thanos and his forced fate but also the TVA.

I especially love that he had the sense to cast a projection instead of trying to stab Thanos with a dagger (and not even in the back!) This is clearly the Loki we should have gotten on the sacred timeline. That was such a stupid death that of course it had to be per-ordained/forced! I wonder/would love if whatever happens at the end of the series could retroactively change Loki's fate in the sacred/main timeline. Make 'the sun will shine on us again, brother' happen!

I was sad he died though glad he did it happy and having found purpose again. I was expecting the enchanting to work before Alioth got him or for kid!Loki to show up and save him. Actually wait, this is clever Loki. Yeah, he didn't die. I'm choosing to believe he hid himself in his helmet which was very pointedly left behind. That's absolutely the sort of thing he'd do.

+ I knew old!Loki would reappear to save them from Alioth but I thought he'd push Sylvie out of the way so what happened was so much better.

+ Was old!Loki able to build such a perfect replica of Asgard because while in exile he worked on it and built it over and over while desperately missing both it and his family? Sad.

+ Loki was absolutely pulling a move on Sylvie when with the whole 'it's cold'/blanket thing, right? Cause they're Frost Giants. And that wasn't a blanket meant for warmth as she points out herself. ...He was, that doofus. Everything about that exchange was delightful. His stymied consternation when she didn't accept his offer, his smile when he conjured it around her, his desperate attempt to contain said smile - he was so pleased with himself and it was adorable.

+ I really felt for Sylvie when she was awkwardly explaining to Loki that "I don't have friends. I don't have... anyone." She was stolen from her home (which was then destroyed) and spent her life hiding in apocalypses. Wherein anyone she did meet and make a connection to would subsequently be killed or pruned. Anyone who she saw multiple times would be those hunting her. That's very sad.

+ This was my favourite episode for Sylvie. I loved how focused she was on her goal and her confidence in her plan to enchant Alioth. I loved her pruning herself.

+ I do wish we had gotten more Loki Variants, even if it had only been glimpses or mentions of them. Make the void full of Lokis! I also wish we'd seen more Hiddlestan!Loki Variants. And Jotunn!Loki. And another female Loki or two.

+ I'm deeply irritated that there's apparently only one female Loki. She's the female Variant. No. Ugh. (So literally she's female just so a Loki romance can happen then?)

+ Loki looked very hot in his suit but when he conjured a harness for the dagger I was a little disappointed that he didn't conjure a new outfit, something similar to his Asgardian armour or even something completely new.

+ When Alioth began ignoring him waving his burning sword why did Loki pointlessly run for Sylvie instead of using his magic to make a bigger impression?

+ Loki mentioning that he betrayed everyone who loved him felt like it was very pointedly missing Frigga. His relationship with her is the one that's had the most focus in this series. It's not everyone if he never betrayed her.

+ It was great to see Mobius and I was very pleased he survived. I liked him saving Sylvie and that he didn't know who he was saving but he was still rushing to save the person Alioth was attacking. I liked that he apologised to Sylvie. I liked that his words about change were a large part in old!Loki going back. I liked his hug with Loki and "you're my favourite" to Sylvie.

+ I was very pleased that Thor got mentioned multiple times. He's such a big part of Loki's life that his absence (not in actively being present, but his presence being felt) has bugged me. I loved that what got old!Loki captured was his loneliness and desire to see his brother again.

+ When Sylvie was dealing with Renslayer all I could think was that she should try and wake Hunter B-15 and get her help instead.

+ Kid!Loki's nexus event of killing Thor was totally the snake story right?
