+ 'Baby Yoda' is indeed very adorable. I love him. I love the look of him, I love the cute sounds he makes [and heartbreaking ones like the cry in ep 3], and I love the way he moves. Considering he's a puppet he is really damn expression.
I loved how he kept trying to heal Mando and Mando kept picking him up and putting him back in his crib. I loved the scene of him chasing the frogs. I loved him completely ignoring Mando as he swallowed his captured frog. I really loved the little moment at the end of ep 3 when he sneakily appears, reaching for the shiny knob, and Mando gives it to him --awww!
+ I loved that as soon as Mando met the Child's eyes he was 'yeah, that's my child now'. He didn't realise it at the time but that's totally what happened.
+ I rather like that Mando is a bit of a failboat. I osmosed him as this super-competent badass and he is a badass - who also can't take a sandcrawler on his own and is almost killed by a mudhorn and has to be saved by the child he's captured, and can be overwhelmed by numbers. I like that he has limitations.
+ I like the look of the series. It feels like Star Wars.
+ I loved the rest of Mando's tribe showing up to rescue him.
+ Mando increasingly put-upon 'no!' to the droid commencing self-destruct was amusing.
+ Mando vs the Jawas was fun. I liked them making fun of him and him losing his temper and trying to flamethrower them. His palpable disgust when he realised the purpose of the egg was good too.
+ Mando absolutely left his bounty hunter boss alive on purpose right?
