Zombieland 2: Double Tap
Oct. 9th, 2021 08:40 pmEh. There were moments I liked but I was disappointed.
+ I liked the new zombies. The homer zombies were fun. I wanted to see more of the Hawkings variety rather than the T-800s.
+ Meh on all the romances.
+ Madison as a character felt mean-spirited and it annoyed me. I liked her saving Wichita, and her and Berkeley dropping things on the zombies (good aim!). I was still glad she turned up alive in the clown truck. But I wanted her to have depth she wasn't given or have her bond with the others/prove her worth more than we got. In the end she felt more like a joke than a character.
+ Tallahassee and Albuquerque’s dick measuring over having sex with Nevada was obnoxious and made me want the zombies to eat both of them.
+ I liked Flagstaff and him and Columbus bonding.
+ I liked Little Rock keeping the Elvis gun and using it to save Tallahassee.
+ Nevada was good and I liked her showing up to save them at the end.
+ Babylon was deeply stupid, which it was supposed to be, but it went too far.
