Chapter 6: The Prisoner
+ I loved Baby Yoda's amazed shocked look at his hand after Zero was shot. Adorable and funny.
+ Enjoyed Mando taking out the six security droids simply on a competence level. Liked how impressed Mayfield was by it.
+ Loved Mando stalking his traitorous team like some kind of horror movie monster. Him appearing and disappearing between flashes of light was excellent.
+ Mayfield picking up Baby Yoda was just wrong. And then he dropped him! Mando handled that whole situation surprisingly well. I'd have expected more violence.
+ Hard meh on Xi'an. Honestly none of the supporting cast this episode, except Mayfield, were really interesting to me.
+ I loved Mando handing the Child the gear shift ball without any prompting.
Chapter 7: The Reckoning
+ I did love the duality of Baby Yoda shown in this episode with his force choking attempted murder and his healing and saving Greef's life.
+ The Child strangling Cara was such a surprise. Why did he try to kill her? Because he absolutely was aiming to kill her. Did he think Cara was a threat to Mando and was protecting his dad? But then he's seen Mando in far more dangerous and/or contentious situations before, including with Cara, without trying to kill someone. I'm really curious about what set him off here. I did find it very interesting that when Mando told him 'Cara is my friend' Baby Yoda shook his head no. Does he know something we don't about her?
+ Baby Yoda dropping down from ceiling to spy on Mando was a delight and I loved his attempt to fly them away. He seemed like he was having a lot of fun doing it.
+ I was really surprised that Mando didn't drop the Child off with Omera. Bringing in Kuiil was a fine substitute but why the heck would Mando bring him to Nevarro? Thatwas a terrible idea! It makes no sense.
+ I really appreciate that when the Child controlled ship went rocky the show didn't have Mando and Cara land against each other in some charged moment.
+ Aw, sad about Kuiil and his blurrgs. I liked him and feel bad for him. He'd gotten his freedom and found peace after a lifetime of slavery and him being run down by stormtroopers is such a bitter end.
