Grey's Anatomy 18x03 & 18x04 Thoughts

iaria18x03 'Hotter Than Hell'
+ It was so great to have Addison back. Her reunion with Amelia was great, I liked her talk with Richard, her scenes with Meredith were great. I hope she sticks around for awhile.
+ Meredith/Addison were great. Addison breaking down over not feeling Derek's presence and Meredith comforting her, and the little side hug, was lovely. I loved them breaking down laughing as soon as the elevator doors closed and the fact that neither of them had to say anything to come to an agreement on how to act around the residents. I liked them immediately working well together in the OR.
+ The residents gossiping about Meredith and Addison was very fun.
+ Helm's continuing crush for Meredith is still very fun for me. I loved her grumpy declaration that she was Team Meredith, her annoyance at the intern saying Mere cheated with Derek, her immediately jumping in to valourise Mere to Addison, and her "Grey made her cry, and I'm here for it." That said the show needs to give her a girlfriend.
+ I liked the Meredith and Hayes talk.
+ "The youngest one is Ellis. She's upstairs, in a mood. She gets it from me." - Meredith. LOL. Something about that I just found hilarious.
18x04 'With A Little Help From My Friends'
+ I liked getting to hear Amelia's side of the break-up and her reasoning for why she was so firm in turning down Linc's proposals, and - I get it. Her POV here makes complete sense to me. But she needs to tell Linc all this. I guess the show is really done with the pairing? Too bad.
+ Bailey stopping to talk to Helm at the end, to give her support and advice, was a really nice moment.
+ I feel bad for Helm. I wish the show would give her a break already and let her be good at her job.
+ I'm kind of annoyed honestly by how isolated Jo has been. She and Meredith, for instance, were kind of close for awhile there and now they don't interact at all and it bothers me. I don't think they've even mentioned each other this season.
+ I wonder just how long this travelling between two cities is going to work for Meredith. She has three kids at home, and no partner. So, she's relying on Amelia (again) and maybe Maggie to watch them several days a week for her? Isn't Amelia supposed to be working with her? So Maggie then. This does not seem sustainable. I have to wonder if this storyline is leading to Meredith leaving the show at the end of the season.
