What If... Episode 2
Nov. 2nd, 2021 07:04 pm...T'Challa Became a Star-Lord
It was great.
+ T'Challa/Nebula and their flirting and loyalty and trust in each other was excellent. That is not a pairing I'd ever considered but I'm into it.
+ Enjoyed Yondu and T'Challa's adopted family relationship. Apparently adopted dad Yondu is always a win. I love them making up after their escape and T'Challa covering for/protecting Yondu from having to deal with the truth of his kidnapping with his bio-family.
+ I loved the Drax/T'Challa exchange. "You look terrible. I look great." Hee.
+ Fanboy Korath was a lot of fun. I enjoyed basically everything about him. Also him confronting Nebula about her betrayal but then his immediate back up when she shot the guard and "but then again there are two sides to every story." made me laugh.
+ I loved the Howard the Duck interlude.
+ Thanos's inclusion in the Ravagers was pretty WTF but okay. I loved everyone dunking on him about the stupidity of his plan. I enjoyed Thanos/Nebula especially her being so embarrassed by him at the end. I just wish that Gamora had shown up or been mentioned.
+ I loved the Ravagers being unable to tell the difference between T'Challa and Peter.
+ I was pleased that Cosmo ended up with the Ravagers.
