I watched episodes 5x20 and 5x21 of Bones and I have to say I wasn’t actually really impressed with either of them. They felt... off.

• Hodgins/Angela at the jail was the best part of 5x20 and I think I’m just going to blank out everything said about witches and wiccans.

• 5x21 had some good parts and the character interactions were good but it also wasn’t very impressive to me. There were just a bunch of things that did not make sense to me.

- If all the Gravedigger cases were tried as one and that was why Brennan/Hodgins/Booth had to drop their cases against her where the hell were the other two cases? The Gravedigger had three other victims (or was it two victims, the twins, and the other guy escaped?) and yet we hear nothing about them. Everything is about the little boy – all questions on the stand, all evidence, and when she is convicted it is only for the kidnapping and murder of the little boy, and no mention is made at all of the twins. What the hell?

- While Booth dropping his case in order to help Brennan and support her made me awww it also annoyed me because his was the latest case and in the end he didn’t really do anything. Just as it was logical for Brennan and Hodgins to drop their case it didn’t seem logical for Booth to do the same.

- I was surprised that when they found the dust mite with potential DNA Cam didn’t think to call in an unbiased outside source to observe the whole procedure. She, they, should have known Taffet would use their connection to the case to cast doubt on their findings.

- I also found myself annoyed at Caroline – when Taffet brought up Brennan seeing a FBI psychologist why did she ask Brennan to explain the reason why she was seeing Sweets (ie: her partnership with Booth)?
