The Mandalorian 2x03 Thoughts

Aww Baby Yoda's huge grin during their landing. He's such a thrill seeker.
I was expecting the Child to save the eggs during the descent when their pod started shaking around and Frog Lady seemed so worried, and it was an actually surprise when that didn't happen.
The Mon Calamari shaking his head at Din's crash landing - lol. I liked the contrast of the Razor Crest's shaky dramatic descent to him calmly observing it on the ground.
Baby Yoda vs his chowder was great but it was Din calmly telling him to "stop playing with your food" (lol) that made it perfect.
Okay, those fishermen were super shady especially with the cajoling to get them to the open hold and I'm slightly judging Din on not realising that.
I loved The Child's shocked look at Din when the other Mandalorian's took their helmets off.
It was great to meet more Mandalorians, different Mandalorians, and learn a little more about them. Din being part of the 'Children of the Watch' cult and the fact that he is so ignorant of even his own people is interesting. They must as a covert maintain extreme isolation from all other Mandalorians (or is that just Din?) Does the Armourer know about their history?
"I want you to be respectful and mind your manners. You know what I'm talking about." LOL. I've been giving Din grief this season for bringing The Child everywhere with him, even though I'm sympathetic to why he doesn't want to let him out of his sight, but him doing what I want in this episode had me going 'ehhh, I don't know about that'. I don't think he had any better option but letting the little predator loose near the eggs, again, felt like a very bad idea. I was very worried!
It was interesting to see Din working with a team. He felt very awkward, especially at first, as the rest of them moved and killed as a well-oiled machine.
I loved Baby Yoda's happy laughter after Din caught the starfish creature.
