Nancy Drew 3x09 Thoughts

+ I enjoyed everything Nancy/Park, and I'm honestly genuinely shipping them now. Other than Ace he is my favourite Nancy potential/actual love interest. I find myself wanting the show to actually back-burner Nancy/Ace and have Nancy/Park get together right now instead.
"You don't have to do anything to mitigate my discomfort I am... good with walking into the unknown." A++, Agent Park. I now love him and I'm pretty sure Nancy really wanted to kiss him right then. I really love how much he appreciates and respects Nancy. I loved him saying that she had an incredible mind. I love how well the two of them work together and how much on the same wave-length they can be. I love how well he's accepted the supernatural and all the craziness that comes with it.
There were also a lot of really lovely little moments between, and about, them. Park helping Nancy take her coat off and then later him giving her his coat when she was cold was great. I loved that in the opening scene Nancy purposefully moved into Park's personal space. Nancy taking his advice to do nothing and inviting him to sit with her, and him smilingly doing so, and her offering him the biggest piece of cookie was really cute. I liked her assuring Nick that "she's in good hands" about Park.
And then there was this little moment in the cage: wherein Nancy teasingly tells Park "In case you're wondering I'm clearing my mind in hopes of achieving further epiphany." and he gets this little smile and then the camera pulls back on him looking at her, and it's so fond and I loved it.
+ As far as a Nancy/Park relationship - he is clearly into her and she likes him back but she's still very hung up on her feelings for Ace. When she got Ace's text she pretty much ignored Park when saying goodbye. Instead of friendly/slightly flirty she was almost dismissive.
+ "It's like our brain's the same brain." I loved that. Them working together so well is something I've always loved about Ace/Nancy.
+ Bess and Ace were lovely. I don't remember a specific moment of Bess noticing Ace's feelings and yet I absolutely believe she did simply because they have such a great friendship. I loved her straight-up telling/warning Ace that 'the window on him and Nancy is closing' and I loved her pushing send on his message to Nancy. They're adorable.
+ I was surprised that Bess was so suspicious of Temperance. Up until now she's been so willing to give her a chance and Temperance seemed to cover her tracks pretty well in the last episode. But Bess did a 180 on her and I'm really pleased about it and her acknowledging that she could have been wrong.
+ I was so annoyed with Bess going off to search Temperance's home and Ace putting together and using the key by themselves. Without even telling any of the others what they were going to do. What the heck you guys? Bess especially. Why the hell does she feel like she needs proof against Temperance? No one trusts her!
+ Nick and George deciding to elope and not taking all their friends/found family who are literally right there bothered me. I was glad that they didn't end up going through with it, and I was glad they decided to hold off on marriage all together because it's definitely too quick. At the same time I was a bit confused about her giving back the ring. Why not have a long engagement instead? Honestly I kind of wonder despite them seeming happy with this choice if they're even going to survive this season as a couple. The whole marriage thing felt more in reaction to George's death/short life span than an actual desire to spend their life together.
