+ Miao Miao poisoning Zhao Jing's tea was amazing. I loved her mocking "I'm just a weak woman. I must be vigilant against evildoers." I loved that she figured out from the start that he wasn't to be trusted. I loved her choosing a poison that would force him to let them live.
+ I love that hearing Zishu's name was all it took to penetrate Kexing's single-minded bloodlust and calm him down.
+ Oh Weining. He feels so betrayed and yet he didn't betray Xiang's secret in turn. The silent treatment is pretty mild a reaction! I feel pretty confident in Weining being the best boy and that he will forgive Xiang and stand by her.
+ The reveal that Zhao Jing was behind Kexing's parents death is entirely not surprising. Of course he is.
+ Poor Han Ying. I too hoped he could become Zishu's disciple. I wish for him that Zishu could have been there when he died.
+ I loved the confident way Zishu faced down Peng Ju and the calm with which he accepted his capture. I loved how obviously scared Peng Ju was of him even though his bluster. Him rapidly stepping back when Zishu approached was a great little moment. I really wonder what those random Window of Heaven assassins thought about the capture of their former leader?
