iariaI find myself a bit worried about Alaric's continued survival.
1) He’s now taken the place in Elena’s life as a parental/adult-who-cares-for-her figure and she really doesn’t have a good track record with them. Miranda Gilbert = dead. Grayson Gilbert = dead. Isobel Flemming = dead. Jenna Sommers = dead. John Gilbert = dead. Alaric Saltzman = ???? Run, Alaric, run for your life!
2) The Gilbert ring has stopped working as well for Alaric. The last time he died he even needed vampire blood for it to not to be permanent. Plus this might not even matter considering how interested Meredith was in it. I'm suspicious of her. Considering how often Alaric dies I feel like he's just about used up all his lives and sometime in the near future he just won't be coming back.
I read this interview with Kevin Williamson and two things stuck out:
1) It’s a great love story because everybody loves everybody. No matter how much they hate each other, everybody loves everybody. It’s a perfect three-way, if they would all just come together. If they could all get along, it would be a hot time.
!!! Did he just state that he is all for a Stefen/Elena/Damon OT3? That they are, in fact, perfect for each other as a threesome?! ... ♥♥♥
1) Now, Alaric is ready to take a front-and-center role again and really get involved. He’s got a good storyline coming up, so I’m excited about that.
Yeah, that just makes me more worried about Alaric's fate.
Project Runway All Stars
1x02 'A Night At The Opera'
Kenley – It’s very pretty. I love how flowing it is and the polka dot bow at the bodice works perfectly.
Gordana – I like the lavender colour and the beaded top of the dress is really great. However I really don’t like the lighter panels on the skirt. There are two of them and they kind of outline the model’s legs and it’s weird and off-putting.
Rami – Wow that is a really bold pink. I don’t even think you can call it ‘pink’. Fuchsia? I like the look of the waist and bodice. It’s pretty. But that colour – wow.
Mila – It’s nice. Simple. I like the asymmetrical skirt a lot. The detail at the top of the dress is nice.
Sweet P – Wow. OMG. Oh, Sweet P. I really like her but this dress is hideous. I hate the colour choices – tangerine for the top and an ugly summery print for the skirt. Just ugh. The shape is not good either especially in the skirt. Nothing about it says opera to me.
Mondo – Wow. That is so dramatic. I love it. I love how the fabric is a mix of white and silver. It looks really dramatic just in itself. The dress is nice and the train in the back is very cool. I love how it’s tied at the back. It reminds me of an obi.
Jerell – It’s kind of meh for me. I actually quite like the material/colour of the skirt part but not so much how it’s used. I don’t really like the black bodice and I hate how it looks from the back. It is dramatic looking though.
Kara – It’s okay. The dress is very simple. I think the fabric choice was a mistake. It’s too light/summery a pattern and colour combination for the opera.
Anthony – The plunging neckline is a bit too deep for my taste but I like the draping. It moves really nicely. I do however hate the jewelled belt. It looks cheap. On the other hand the black leather gloves accessorise it perfectly.
Austin – It’s okay. I like the criss-crossing at the bodice. I like the use of black tulle and how it looks with the gold lame.
April – It’s... meh-ish. I don’t like the shape of the top. The dying of the skirt also didn’t work for me.
Michael – It looks stunning. I love the beaded & feather shoulder/neck piece, the matching beaded belt, how the criss-crossing fabric in the front drapes, how it looks from the back and how the skirt of the dress looks. It dramatic and I love it.
My Top/Bottom choices:
Top 3: Mondo, Michael... Kenley.
Bottom 3: Sweet P, Kara, April.
I picked Michael to win and I still think he should have beat Austin.
I agreed with the judges decision to send Sweet P home. I really disliked that dress.
1x03 ‘Miss Piggy’: I disagreed with both decisions. I thought Rami should have won (it was fun, light and prettier plus Michael's just didn't say 'Miss Piggy' to me) and Mila should have been out (her dress was nothing that Miss Piggy would wear whereas Gordana’s may have been too simple/safe but was pretty and was at least an attempt to match Miss Piggy’s aesthetic.)
