I was hoping for something fun and funny like Happy Death Day but this fell short for me.
+ Millie’s friends, Josh and Nylah, were great and went above and beyond and I liked their friendship.
+ Josh trying to convince his mom that he was role playing with Millie and the killer’s reactions was actually very funny. Though I feel like he could have solved some believability issues there if he’d come out as bi and then spun it as Millie helping him figure it out.
+ The one girl during the opening montage leaving the hidden room in the closet like 5 seconds after the killer leaves the room was very dumb.
+ The killer surviving multiple gunshot wounds and coming back at the end apparently completely uninjured was ridiculous but I guess tropes. Still they could have at least had him noticeably injured or there could be a reveal that because of the knife thing only she can kill him now.
+ I did like the final confrontation with the three women vs him and that Millie killed him in the end.
+ I think the big issue is that the humour often didn't land for me but I also wasn't very attached to the characters and I thought Vince Vaughn as Millie was mostly okay.
