I love how Niles knows everyone and everyone knows Niles. Everyone's reaction to the spaceship landing amused me.

How things went wrong with Baby Doll and Dorothy made complete sense to me and I really liked how it was done. The jealousy and resentment, the one upping of scaring each other leading to actual fear leading to things very rapidly getting out of control because both have killer invisible protectors who come out when they're afraid. I honestly didn't really blame either of them? They're kids but things go out of control so fast. Baby Doll didn't mean for Herschel to die. Dorothy absolutely did mean to lash out and hurt Baby Doll, and in that 30 seconds after Herschel's death she probably absolutely did want them to die, but she rapidly regretted doing it because lashing out in anger is a completely separate thing from getting what your anger and grief wants. So yeah, I was team nobody/team everybody on that.

I liked seeing more of the Underground and the interactions between Jane and the other alters. Miranda was amazing in her escape from her father and I felt so horrible for her when things went wrong in the worst way with John (fuckface!)

Larry wasn't really the reason for Dex being shot. Sure, he fought back from being taken but the only reason those people with guns were there was because Paul brought them there. Where his son and grandson were? So if anyone is to blame it's Paul. Why the hell would he have it go down right then? I don't blame Paul for not wanting anything to do with his dad but I do for this nonsense. Idiot.

I was glad that season two kept up the weirdness of the first season. The sex ghostbusters were hilarious.

I love that Cliff and Rita both got fun buddy cop title sequences with Vic.

Niles airlocking Cliff into space was definitely shocking but ultimate kind of pointless. He immediately fell back to Earth and landed surprisingly gently and was pretty much perfectly fine if mad so... why? What the hell Niles? He could have dropped him off somewhere! Cliff's furious ranting about it was hilarious and earned.

Of all the characters to end up with Dorothy on the moon Cliff is not the one I'd choose. And he did okay, I guess but also dude, can you be a little more comforting!

It bothered me for much of the season that we got so much tell not show on how dangerous Dorothy is. I wish it been shown earlier why Niles was so afraid that he would go to such terrible, terrible extremes. We're also told that Niles is very important to Dorothy keeping control, that she needs him. But we're not shown it enough. It's very possible that the point in the end will be that Niles handled it all very wrong (duh clearly) but also maybe even that he was wrong in his belief of her danger at all but I still wish we'd had a better build up.
