Overall I liked these episodes fine but at the same time I'm now halfway through the final season and that's making me feel a bit frustrated with how this season has gone. I wanted more Eve/Villanelle in this final season and the lack of explanation for their current relationship, even after four episodes, is also leaving me discontent.

Also, not the show's fault, but considering how last season ended and that this is the final season I was expecting Eve and Villanelle to team up/be working together and what I got was basically the exact opposite and it's left me feeling a little disappointed about that too.

+ The biggest issue/question is of course what the hell happened between Eve and Villanelle after the bridge scene that led them to this place? Something big had to have happened, and considering Villanelle's journey to trying to be good and how bitter and cold Eve is towards her, it was probably Villanelle doing something that Eve found a betrayal/unforgivable. Though considering all Eve has worked past it had to have been a doozy and I honestly can't think of something worse.

Perhaps instead what happened was: Eve let out some of her inner darkness with Villanelle's encouragement and killed someone with her. This left Eve appalled and so horrified that she decided to finally cut off her attachment to Villanelle and bury her inner monster. Maybe.

+ Considering how obsessed Eve has been with Villanelle it is a bit discombobulating to see her affect such disinterest in her now. Of course despite how hard she's trying to play cold and unaffected we do see that it's simply a cover and I can't wait until her true feelings break free. Preferably sooner than later.

+ Carolyn was right - Eve does look purposeful and it does look good on her. I loved her introduction this season with the motorcycle arrival and confrontation with Konstantin.

+ I'm into Eve/Helene. I loved their first scene in Helene's kitchen a lot. The power-playing between them is great.

+ I like Yusuf and his partnership and friends-with-benefits with Eve. I especially like how supportive and unjudgemental he is of her, and that they have fun together. Eve deserves some angst free fun. However he seems a bit too good and loyal so I am suspicious and curious about his willingness to help her as much as he is. A plant by The 12?

+ Fairly meh on Villanelle's whole religion plotline.

+ "But to me it would be fascinating because - it's Eve. And because in our bones we understand each other." I love how gone on Eve Villanelle is.

+ I loved the pairing up of Carolyn and Villanelle in ep 4. Both of them feel so lost in their lives this season even as they're determinedly searching for something greater and I enjoyed them teaming up a lot. Villanelle convincing Carolyn to let go and air-guitar was such a great little moment.

+ Liked the return of Martin. His scenes with Eve and especially Villanelle were great.

+ Konstantin cracking up laughing after Pam pushed him into the sea amused me.
