Hotel Del Luna Episodes 5 & 6
Jun. 15th, 2022 11:38 pmEpisode 5
+ The previous episodes focused so much on Chung-myung and the beginnings of his relationship with past Man-wol that it was easy to look past Yeon-woo and her relationship with him. Looking back of course it's easy to see the strength of their care for each other - her worry and saving him at the battle, him saving her, her freak out when he was captured and overwhelming relief when he was returned to her safe. I'm left wondering which did Man-wol love and lose? Was there a love triangle?
+ I liked the twist to Su-min's story. Even with her wedding ring I didn't realise the truth. They even fooled me when Soo-jung went to collect him and the revelation that he was in a coma.
+ Soo-jung continuing to be a part of the show is interesting. I wonder if sh3s being set up to be Man-wol's replacement?
+ Seo-hee taking Chan-sung's sincerity as a threat amused me.
+ Chansung trying so hard for Su-min (and Snachez) was nice but the fact that he set up the whole ghost blind date situation without consulting her first made me want to facepalm.
+ When Su-min's husband saw her angry ghost face and immediately ran away my first thought was 'weakling', lol. If he's willing to die with her he should be able to handle a little ghostness.
+ The lack of reaction to room 13's escape bothered me. People should be more worried about a malevolent ghost who hates humans and drives anyone who sees her insane getting lose!
Episode 6
+ Man-wol vs Sanchez's obliviousness was hilarious.
+ Hyun-joong and Soo-jung are very sweet. I love how he keeps popping up to help/protect her when the other girls are bullying her. The piano scene was great.
+ The car scene amused me a lot. Chan-sung was so exasperated but unmoved.
