I really enjoyed it. My favourite in the franchise.

Naru was amazing. The movie did a great job of establishing her traits from the start and then building on them until they all came together at the end - how observant she is, her cleverness as a hunter, her determination, her unwavering need to succeed.

I loved how they set Naru up as prey in the predator's eyes. He meets her four times and each time it's to find her as 'prey' to another - the bear, her tribesmen, the French hunters - while missing her moments as a fighter. And how that leads to him underestimating her. I also like how it adds to and builds up Naru's personal story wherein she is fighting so hard to be seen as a hunter while everyone around her keeps trying to keep her from being it.

This movie excelled at set up and pay off. Every point of Naru's journey and her eventual defeat of the predator was shown step by step. It was fantastic.

Naru's final take down of the predator was clever and believably built up to as something she could do. Excellent fight from start to finish. I loved that Sarii helped. Her pulling out the predator's fang and stabbing him with it was awesome. I loved her getting him into accidentally taking his own arm off in order to save himself.

The scene where she uses the French hunter as bait was excellent. Loved everything about it - from her choice to use him as bait, her "You can't see but I'm killing you. And it won't either." (awesome line), to her braveness in standing there unmoving as the predator enters the scene to her shooting him.

Really great acting. Both Naru and Taabe's actors were excellent.

I really loved the scene at the end when she walks into the village covered in the glowing green blood, as if it were war paint, and triumphantly throws down the predator's head and the Frenchman's pistol.

A+ on the adorable dog surviving. I like that he could occasionally be a hindrance but was also a super helpful partner to Naru. He was great, loved him.

Naru and her relationships with brother and mother were lovely.

Taabe was great. I loved how supportive and respectful he was of Naru and her desires. I loved his badass final fight. His cry of 'cheater' was funny and so true. He totally had the peedator. I was sad he died.

I like how the movie did all the Comanche dialogue in English and the traders in untranslated French to show the language barrier.

Really beautiful cinematography. There were some wonderful shots in there like Naru vs the lion on the tree, the first shot of the predator in the cave cloaking, Naru behind the predator while 'invisible', Naru jumping from the tree onto the Predator, the run through the grass a la The Lost World, etc.
