The Hitman's Bodyguard Duo

It was fun.
+ The movie really rests on the interactions between Bryce and Kincaid and they had great chemistry imo. I enjoyed their constant sniping and getting on each other's nerves. Their road trip was fun.
+ Bryce's rant about Kincaid as chaos happened behind him was great. I enjoyed how done he was with everything.
+ I liked Sonia. She was hilariously mean and I enjoyed her relationship with Kincaid.
The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard
Not as good as the first.
+ For me it went too hard on the 'comedy' which often didn't work for me, and it went too far into making Bryce the butt-monkey. Way too much of him being made into a joke and not succeeding.
+ Also it's obvious at the end of the last movie that Bryce and Kincaid have grown to care about each other. But in this Kincaid sincerely caring about Bryce felt missing most of the time. Yeah, they're not touchy-feely and they take the shit out of each other as the basis of their relationship but still... eh.
+ I did love the end with Sonia tricking Bryce into signing adoption papers and it ending having Bryce and Kincaid's simultaneous "what the fuck". It was funny, made sense for how they'd all interacted and was a fun cap to the story. Except then they did what they'd done the whole movie and took it too far with the boat end scene which made me sigh in annoyance.
+ I liked the bit with Bryce's dad and his final confrontation with him and the return of the penknife. I wish we'd gotten more on why Sr. was so disdainful of his son though. A+ in casting Morgan Freeman.
+ I liked getting more of Sonia and her and Bryce's relationship was pretty enjoyable (ignoring the comedy aspects). I loved her showing up on his vacation to drag him into saving Darius.
+ Annoyed that we once again have the disappearing woman/female character/actress with Amelia never even mentioned.
