Orphan Black Season 2
Dec. 20th, 2022 09:23 pmStill enjoying the series.
+ I loved Sarah and Helena's relationship and the direction the show went with them. Sarah's heartfelt plea to Helena was honestly moving and I do bought she was genuine and loved it. I loved Helena showing up to murder Daniel and save Sarah. I definitely want more twin time. Considering how the season ends I really want Sarah to go out on a limb and save Helena this time.
+ I wish Allison was more involved in the main plot rather than stuck in her own sidestory, especially towards the end of the season. That said, I did like the rehab/Vic storyline and how it ended. Donnie as monitor went a lot differently than I was expecting. The reveal that he was mostly dumb followed by murder hijinks made me dislike him less.
+ The reveal that there's a line of male clones makes so much sense. Of course there would be. I was actually expecting Cal to be one for a second considering the whole Kira thing.
+ I love how ruthless Mrs. S is. Murdering old friends without a blink and trading Helena for Kira and Sarah, I loved both.
+ Felix continues to be lovely and wonderful.
+ I was disappointed we didnt get to actually see Sarah tell Art the truth. The reactions are one of the best parts! And while I'm pleased he's so firmly on team Clone and his interactions with both Felix and Helena I was disappointed that the season didn't have more of him and Sarah interacting.
+ Cosima's dream of Delphine telling her that she'll always be with her was deeply worrying. I feel like Rachel probably had her killed on that plane.
+ Kira playing Halloween dress up to distract the police officer (the whole interplay with Cal was adorable) and then her proactively pulling her own tooth to help Cosima were great.
+ The whole Henrik situation was gross all around. While Henrik seemed to be solely in charge I feel like Bonnie is going to prove the scarier and more fanatical of the two.
+ I was so pleased that Gracie turned against everything she was taught and escaped. I doubt it will last but it was a good start. I loved that little moment of revelatory glee on her face when Helena threatened the abusive nurse.
