Signal Episodes 13 & 14 Thoughts
May. 5th, 2023 10:09 pmEpisode 13
+ Everything about Jae-han realising who Hae-young is and then following young him and paying for a meal, and then continuing to do that was lovely and sad, and I just desperately wanted Jae-han to approach Hae-young and take him under his wing and give him the support and comfort they both needed. Jae-han and Hae-young wishing only for the other to live a happy life and urging the other to find that, and both wanting the other to have someone in their life was really bittersweet. It's both of you, it's each other!
+ We know so little about her and get so little of her but I feel so terrible for Hae-young's mother. She suffered so much too.
+ Drunk Soo-hyun declared Jae-han the best cop she knew and I'm going to have to agree with her. He's wonderful.
Episode 14
+ I really liked the reveal that Sun-woo was actually murdered. It works really well, and I had a suspicious after the previous episode. Poor Hae-young's reaction was great.
+ Sadly the fact that nothing changed after the radio call makes me think Jae-han didn't get there in time. Although... we haven't had a change made in Hae-young's personal life so what would happen? I figured that he'd suddenly find himself with double memories of the old timeline with Sun-woo dead and a sudden knowledge that actually he's alive. Since that didn't happen then Sun-woo is dead.
+ Very excited about Soo-hyun finally learning about the radio.
+ I wasn't a big fan of Soo-hyun's overwrought reaction to Jae-han being stabbed. It was a lot.
+ Hae-young's father is a dick. Wow.
