iaria+ My whole problem with this whole Samjang situation is that becoming Samjang didn't make Seon-mi 'special'! She was able to see spirits before she became Samjang, it has always been a part of her. I can buy her completing her mission as Samjang ending with her becoming normal as a reward but it didn't cause her ability to see ghosts. So the implication here that they're connected annoys me a lot. The other thing about the Samjang situation is that even while unknowing that she was Samjang Seon-mi was still fulfilling her duties in banishing/helping ghosts/evil spirits. Putting a name to it and officially accepting the job hasn't really changed things for her that much.
+ Also still annoying me is the way the show keeps returning to Geumganggo as why Oh-rong isn't able to eat Seon-mi when it's very clearly establish to be because of their deal. All Geunganggo does is make Oh-rong love her and want to make her happy/help her.
+ It had to have been purposeful to place Seon-mi's sad "My life is the most pitiful" beside a picture of two abused children, one of which died, right? When she showed up to save the little boy, and she seemed so angry and in control, I thought perhaps seeing that picture at her low-point had caused her to have a moment of clarity. But then the evil fairy still got to her so...
+ Oh-rong is often really bad at saying the right thing but other times, wow, he hits it out of the park. <>I"She looks gorgeous even in an ugly dress. It's beautiful. You look stunning in anything. Amazing. The following discussion about marriage was wonderful.
+ Ma-wang getting so into playing the piano was a delight. I loved the reveal that he was playing really badly. I also loved him and Ji-young roasting Seon-mi's dress and fashion sense, heh.
+ I love that Oh-rong ended up being the annoying one with the kids. Just let them draw! His solution, to his criticism of Han-byeol's drawings causing her to cry, being bribery and then pawning them off on various minions made me sigh/laugh.
+ I enjoyed Bu-ja messing with Oh-rong over Seon-mi. I like that she's becoming more confident.
+ Oh-rong's realization that he'd gone too far and his regret about bring up Ma-wang's love as a weapon in their spat was a really nice moment. I liked him bringing Ma-wang one of his better bottles of alcohol (but not the best!) but also that things ended tensely between them with Ma-wang lashing back about Seon-mi.
+ PK is so sweet with Bu-ja and I like that he's basically adopted her.
+ Oh-jeong asking to clean Seon-mi's refrigerator because "I won't be able to sleep tonight knowing the state it's in" LOL
+ Ji-young's abruptness and dismissal of Soo Bo-ri whenever he upset Ma-wang amused me.
