A Korean Odyssey Episode 16
Feb. 9th, 2024 11:58 pm+ Finally the most important question has been answered! Seon-mi has in fact been Samjang since birth. The punishment for freeing Oh-rong was her blood becoming delicious. It was really bothering me so thank god they finally clarified this.
+ The spirit realm are kind of dicks huh. Oh-rong was always meant to be Samjang's guardian and yet they still punished her for freeing him?
+ "Your horns will grow again. Don't worry." Awww, Oh-rong's worry for Ma-wang was sweet. When Ma-wang was ranting about what Asanyeo told him Oh-rong's exasperation amused me.
+ Ma-wang immediately turning to goo with the baby, LOL.
+ So-ri seemed very sure that when Oh-rong removes the Geumganggo all his love and feelings for Samjang will disappear. In fact it seems like they're relying on it. They're using his love to force him to protect her and then taking it off so he will kill her and somehow think there will be no bleed through. I wonder if how things played out with Great Egret caused their approach this time? She obviously went through with it but a great emotional cost to herself - could they be trying to protect Oh-rong from the same suffering? Seems unlikely.
