iaria+ I loved the initial bodyswap and wanted more of it but actually getting more turned out to be a mixed bag because while it showcased some excellent acting and there was a lot of fun, particularly when the two of them were together, having it happen around others proved to be kind of mortifying and hit my embarrassment squick hard. I had to watch through my hands, hit mute or even fast-forward though a bunch of scenes.
- Lanhua biting Qingcang's lip when he immediately tried to switch them back and then later when she pinched him amused me.
- 'Lanhua' jumping 'Qingcang' in bed and trying to kiss him as a confused Shangque goes WTF and then runs away was hilarious.
- Lanhua's pettiness with the food amused me. So petty, and she was so proud of herself lol.
- I really liked Lanhua stepping up to act like Qingcang when Lord Haishi confronted them.
+ I loved that Lanhua figured out how the switch happened first and then immediately used it to escape her prison. A+ for getting one over him. Her attitude with him afterwards was also great. Buuut I rapidly found myself facepalming at her failure at capitalizing on it. She not only had no plan of what to do next but her trying to act as Qingcang was so terrible that I don't think you can call it trying. Qingcang trying to get through to her that if people suspected the truth it would end in their murder never seemed to really click and that was a bit frustrating.
+ Dylan Wang's acting as Lanhua was really excellent.
+ I like Changheng and Rong Hao's friendship but I'm loving the tragedy surrounding them. They're best friends and I think they could both understand the devotion and extremes they'd go for the one they love. But Rong Hao's scheming is increasingly intersecting badly with Changheng, once again leading to Changheng being injured, and it feels like foreshadowing. I loved Rong Hao telling Dieyi to "not hurt him anymore".
+ I liked Danyin putting her support behind Lanhua with Changheng and will be very amused if it's supporting Langua and helping Changheng help her that makes Changheng look at her differently. Not sure how much that vocal support was about getting on Changheng's side though.
+ Shangque is lovely, and I agree with Danyin that he's 100% loyal and should have been told about the bodyswitch immediately, but also the fact that he didn't immediately clock that Qingcang wasn't right makes me shake my head. Just how??
