I liked it.

There were a bunch of funny parts. The opossum mom and joeys were great. Roz's initial efforts to complete her mission with baby Brightbill was funny (Fink's reactions were hilarious).

I loved Roz with baby Brightbill. Adult Brightbill was fine. I did really like the Roz/Brightbill relationship. The building of their house and Roz giving in and letting Brightbill help build felt like the turning point.

I loved the opening with the otters. The mom otter shifting between Roz and her baby with a suspicious look was a very cute little moment.

It really stuck out how much death there was. The movie was very realistic about nature and death and that was kind of neat tbh. Predators killing prey both successfully (the crab at the beginning, the butterfly/bird) as well as active attempted murder, animals dying in the snowstorm - it was unusual I found for kids movies.

I liked the look of the movie. The colours, the design of Roz (I liked the way she moved), the animals were lovely. The butterfly scene was very pretty.

Roz earnestly trying to help but failing hard at the beginning was amusing but I loved that she had to learn the language of the forest creatures and actually communicate with them to learn what they wanted rather then just doing what she thought they needed.

I loved the beaver making Roz a new leg.

I really liked the scene of Roz and Fink saving all the animals from the snowstorm.

The forest animals coming together to protect Roz from the RECO was great.

Fink desperately wanting a family while trying to hide it (and failing) was great. I also love how he tries to come off as this unaffected bad guy in the beginning but keeps giving himself away - his incredulous "Are you crazy?! I might eat him!" after she gave him Brightbill, or him covering Brightbill's ears (...) after Roz admits to killing his mom.

I liked the shots we got of the golden gate bridge under water and the satellite dishes broken and in disrepair and the implications it gives about what happened.

The RECO robots really seem like a terrible idea in an enclosed greenhouse. Also just very ineffective on top of how dangerous they were.
