12 Monkeys 2x03 and 2x04

iaria2x03 'One Hundred Years'
+ So Primary's are an interesting twist. There are more people like Jennifer who have a different relationship with time (who are not bound by it?) which I find cool.
+ Ramse's played his role but Cole is still very important and I really want to know why.
+ I'm still having a bit of a difficult time with the change in Cassie. Her and Deacon are very close - their goodbye exchange of 'be careful'/'Behave' I liked, and his obvious worry and protectiveness over her I'm enjoying, Katarina isn't wrong that she changed him - but I still want to see some of that backstory. What's working less well is Cassie's anger at Cole because I'm having a hard time understanding it. It can't just be him saving Ramse.
+ I love that as soon as Katarina weighs in with 'we should go' the other scientists pack up because when she speaks it's a done deal.
+ I loved Ramse's little smile when Cassie said Cole could barely navigate 2016, ha.
+ Wow, Cole would have been so pissed off if he'd returned to find Ramse's dead I'm honestly curious about what he'd do and how that would play out.
2x04 'Emergence'
+ My favourite thing they did with this episode was the FBI Agent getting only the tiniest bit of the weirdness surrounding our group and then not only looking further into it but actually believing the unbelievable truth it hints at (time travel) and deciding to help them. That's awesome. I hope we see him again. I also really hope the show does this again. Let people in the past figure it out or be told and then choose to help our heroes.
+ It was interesting that the Messenger appeared to be communicating with The Witness in real time.
+ The Messenger may have believed that she would die but the 12 Monkeys had to have known better considering she's the mother of the Pallid Man. Once again it appears that the 12 Monkeys higher ups are keeping things from their minions.
+ They question how many primarys there are but I feel like 12 seems like an obvious number to jump to.
