That said it doesn't make me excited about the MCU again. I liked the characters fine. Especially Yelena. But I'm not really invested in any of them.
+ I liked the theme of depression in this movie. It makes a lot of sense with this group of characters. I liked that winning didn't come down to a big battle but rather Bob getting the support he needed from others to fight back against his depression.
+ I liked Yelena and Bob. Their bonding was sweet. I bought it.
+ I loved the look of Void.
+ Val's kind of annoyed me in her previous appearance I saw but I liked her here. She's terrible but I loved that she was simply annoyed when Sentry went megamaniacal and wasn't even really thrown when he was strangling her. I appreciate that in a person.
+ I enjoyed Bucky's return to Winter Soldierness and him saving the team.
+ Bucky's sarcastic reply of 'nothing bad had ever happened in my life, I'm fine' amused me.
+ I enjoyed Val interrupting the Thunderbolts violent attempt to break into Watchtower and inviting them up and her annoyance because she'd just had the entrence drywalled.
+ I didn't like that Bob forgot everything. That didn't work for me. He went through something very traumatic but also faced his demons, and then was saved via a loving hug and the support of the group and for him to lose all that knowledge is annoying.
+ Ghost felt very underdeveloped. Not enough screen time.
