I liked it. It was pretty fun.

I liked Joey. I thought she was a great and was pretty smart in how she went about things. I like that she confronted the fact that Abigail was a vampire head-on and immediately started brainstorming. I'm really glad she survived.

I liked Joey/Abigail and where things went with them. Abigail saving Joey and them teaming up against Frank, and then Abigail convincing Lazaar to let her go was great. I loved the pinky-swear and how it came back up in the final battle. I'm guessing that Abigail softening on Joey so much at the end was at least in part to her overhearing Joey's phone call to her son.

Honestly I was rather expecting an adopted family ending where Abigail decided she wanted to keep Joey as her new mom. Kind of surprised we didn't get something in that vein.

I loved Sammy's reactions to everything. She was very relatable. Honestly everyone's WTF reactions to what was happening were great. I just found Sammy's immediate 'no, no, nope, fuck this' reactions particularly fun.

I enjoyed Joey and Frank's tense relationship. It felt like they considered each other on the same level once things went to shit. I was a little surprised when Frank got so vindictive after he turned. Turning on her, yeah sure, though I felt like they were starting to consider each other on the same team. But he was pretty vicious and mad at her. Was it just the power-high of being a vampire?

Peter was rather sweet (for all that he was an unrepentant killer). I really liked the little friendship he and Sammy were building and was sad for him that it was a controlled Sammy who killed him.

Abigail taking over Sammy and their shared dance was creepy and great.

I liked how they worked together.

I liked that Joey instantly realised something was off with Sammy.

Sammy bringing back onions and Frank's incredulous annoyance and her defensive 'i don't cook' really amused me.

It was interesting that despite Abigail being an old vampire she wasn't actually very strong. She is stronger than normal humans, see her taking down doors and also ripping off heads, and yet Peter was able to hold her to the floor and once he turned Frank easily stopped her attacks and flung her around without effort. I prefer when a vampire's age dictates their strength more then what they physically were when turned.

Rickles died too quickly imo. I wish his character had stuck around longer. I liked him and Joey immediately feeling a connection and teaming up. Also how did Rickles ever die? Did Abigail tear up his face/neck?

So bloody! The way the vampires explode into blood when they die was gross and I kind of loved it.

I liked that Abigail was perhaps not entirely right in thinking her father didn't care. He did come for her (even if he was too late) and him giving in and letting Joey leave showed Abigail's feelings did matter.
