Y&R and Big Bang Theory Thoughts

So I'm still not watching this again but I do occasionally catch bits and pieces. What's happening currently on the show is really not making me want to start watching again. Especially considering how they're apparently now going to have Sharon and Victor seriously pursue a relationship together. Ewww, no! The only good thing about the Sharon/Victor marriage was the fact that it ended up not being romantic. Ugh. This is so wrong. I love their friendship and how close they've always been but I just can’t watch them as a couple. How either of them, or the writers, could ever think this was a good idea I don't know. If the writers wanted to move past Sharon/Adam they should have hooked her up with say Jack. Jack would have been a much better choice.
Added to that is my continued irritation about where the show went with Sharon/Adam. After she kept sticking with him and going back to him – even when the smart choice would have been to have nothing more to do with him, when it simply made her life much more difficult – the show deciding to break them up apparently permanently is just - ugh. I like that she was so upset for Jack's sake, though of course we don't get them actually interacting, but... really? That was the last straw for Sharon? And after the time spent at his mother's farm and how she sincerely seemed to believe that he has changed and wanted to be better - that was when she decides to give up on him? So irritated.
Added to the above annoyances is the fact that I'm just not really interested in anything else going on. The whole situation with Ashley/Tucker/Harmony/Neil/Sophia is annoying and meh. I don’t care about Phyllis/Nick at all. I am just so completely over the two of them. And nothing else is really holding my interest.
Well... there are a couple of things - the Adam/Chelsea friendship is nice and Avery/Michael could be interesting. But mainly no.

- Oh, Amy. She should know better than to try and be passive-aggressive with Sheldon. Of course it didn't work.
- As soon as Sheldon left I wanted Penny to show up at the birthday party for Amy. It feels like the show missed a great opportunity. I can totally see Amy pretending to her family that Penny was her girlfriend and Penny going along with it to be a good friend (and because she always gives in to Amy) and the hijinks that ensued could have been very funny.
- "It leaves you open to getting hurt." - Amy, Penny laughs
"That’s hilarious. No." - Penny
...um, except that Leonard already has hurt her? I don't see why it's so impossible now.
- So holding Penny’s hair while she throws up beats science centre date with Sheldon for Amy. Yeah, we know who’s first with her.
