Happiness Episode 7 Thoughts

iariaThis episode annoyed me a little.
+ Tae-seok wtf, seriously?! I genuinely don't understand his whole thought process here. Instead of asking Sae-bom to come with him because she might be the only chance of a cure, plan A was - that. Going in with a laughable excuse, getting her alone and setting a zombie on her and then kidnapping her. It's just so stupid! At least make it Plan B! Lying out the facts and how dire things are getting would have had a pretty high chance of working, especially if all they really wanted was her blood. Which she'd already agreed to keep giving before the lockdown. Ugh.
Frankly if she is so important that you need to kidnap her then at least do a better job because that was embarressing. What happpened to all those soldiers that snuck in to cut open Mr Kim's head and steal his body? (In that order, WTF??) Why did he not have people waiting in the parking garage with a vehicle and guards?
Also he told Sae-bom he needed to have an infected bite her to test how that affected her antibodies... and then changed his mind? WTH? What happened to bearing the weight of making the difficult decisions?
Literally everything about this plot annoyed the crap out of me. Please try and be more competent thanks.
+ Oh, and in a similar line Yi-hyun chasing after the car and landing on the hood with his gun drawn on Tae-seok and Sae-bom coming out of sedation and stealing his gun were pretty cool however I was annoyed by Yi-hyun punching Tae-seok and the framing that the two of them had any real power in that situation.
+ I'm also very annoyed that the conversations about antibodies and cure were happening between Yi-hyun and Tae-seok without Sae-bom there.
+ It's always bothered me a little that Sae-bom was left in the quarantined apartment complex but I figured it's the concept of the show and maybe he prefers knowing where she is. But why are they letting them go back into the apartments when he has proof that things are getting out of control in there? If it's just that he wants to stay on her good side and keep her cooperative then he probably shouldn't have kidnapped her.
+ I realise that Hyun-kyung was grieving and freaked out and panicking but those were not good choices! It made no sense to let known infected Mr Kim free. Running off into the parking garage was a bad idea.
+ It really is so interesting to have zombies that can talk and communicate and think, and seeing how people interact with them.
+ "Don't pity the infected too much. They can control their thirst if they have the will." OMG, is Tae-seok infected? That would be an amazing reveal.
+ Seo-yoon is smarter than most of the adults and has better instincts. I liked that she was suspicious of Tae-seok's motives, and previously was distrustful of the representative. She checked the door camera twice and then only opened the door with the lock engaged, and when she later opened it for Sae-bom she did it initially with the lock in place. When she learned they need to fill the tubs with water she immediately piped up about going to fill the one in her house. And, while not the smartest move, she went looking for help when she became worried about what Tae-seok wanted with Sae-bom. She's great.
+ Seo-yoon deciding she wanted to stay with Sae-bom and Yi-hyun instead of going to be with her parents made me aww but also I wonder why. Does she have suspicions about the state of her parents and doesn't want to see them like that? Does she realise that she'll be safer and more comfortable with Sae-bom?
+ Na Soo-min had me switching around again. Yes he's an entitled ass. But him calling his sister and not pleading with her to let him back in, but instead saying he didn't want to come in and risk her, that he called just to reassure her that he was okay and ask for her to take care of his family - that was a standup move all around. I felt bad for both. Fine, he's off my shit list. But considering I go back and forth with him every episode and he now has the chance to enter the apartment building I'm sure it's going to switch next episode again, lol.
