Let Us Sit Bent, and Talk Straight

+ I love Joe's genuine compassion for people which these two episodes really highlighted. He cares about people. I loved him with Azar. His empathy over their loss, his refusal to leave them. I loved him reassuring and helping Inga in the train bathroom. It's perhaps weird to say about a murderer but he's a good person.

+ I don't know why they didn't tell the killer any details about Diane's death but just the fact that the killer is searching for her has to mean she did not die in that explosion. Her body would have been found. (Also the actress is Gemma Arterton so...). I'm really curious about what Diane stole that would get this reaction.

+ I have to agree with Joe in that Officer doesn't seem that remorseful for Youssef's death. And a horrible death at that! I think she regrets that it happened but she never once apologizes to Azar for her role in his death. She only ever offers excuses - that she had to, that she didn't have a choice, that she wanted to survive. It's only about her and manipulating those around her to try and absolve herself and make them side with her.

+ Aw this whole thing makes me sad re: Joe/Officer friendship. Okay she betrayed them and got someone horribly murdered. But also it's not like Joe hasn't lied to someone (much more) important to him before! (That might get horribly murdered.) I still want them to get back to being in a good place. I am glad that he immediately spoke up to advocate keeping her alive.

+ I liked Joe helping Inga in the bathroom and his care with her, and I also really liked how well they worked together this episode. I really want to see more of them as a team. Hopefully she doesn't did from her wound because I've grown rather fond of her, and who knows maybe she'll be my new favourite best friend option for Joe going forward lo.

+ Wow, Azar was really put through the ringer this episode. Choosing to sacrifice two fingers to complete the heist, what a decision to make. Though I feel like she had to know that if she'd refused Diane and Right Hand would have done it anyway. Then to learn her father was murdered because of their role in the heist. Then to watch her beloved grand-father burn to death in front of her. Yikes. That was sad.

+ Inga's determination to take the killer on alone was frustrating. Considering he's hunting you and has killed multiple of your group, no going off on a private vendetta is not the right choice!

+ I like that Inga knew the truth about Officer betraying them. Though that definitely puts her in part at fault for what happened to Youssef too, since she was using them as bait to lure out the killer.
