Culprits Episode 6 & 7 Thoughts

iariaEpisode 6 'Vessels'
+ I'm so bummed Inga died. I'd really grown to like her and maybe even more importantly I wanted to learn more about her, and see her interact with the others. Also they did her dirty. She could have gone out fighting instead of drugged and helpless.
+ Genuinely sad because Joe/Inga were great. The way Joe gently touched Inga's shoulder and promised her that they'll get her fixed up - he's such a softy and she allowed it! They really seem to work well together. I loved their talk while he was fixing her up. It felt like they made a real connection. She gave him the location of her London safe house!
+ I really liked that it took teamwork to capture the Killer. Joe to fight/distract him, Officer redeeming herself a little by kicking the gun to Joe, and Azar knocking him out with the extinguisher.
+ I'm rather annoyed that it was Joe who killed the killer not Azar. She deserved that!
+ Not sure how I feel about Azar killing a random man.
+ Joe talking Jules and the kids through escaping the house was very tense. I'm not sure I buy it but I enjoyed it.
+ Joe was a dick to his poor ex Colin by showing up to rob him and making him think he wanted to catch up. It's kind of funny how uncomfortable that made me especially when you compare it to a lot of other way worse stuff Joe has done. But that was just cruel.
+ I was a little annoyed with Joe's highhandedness when he told them to stay in the car and then took the keys, though I also get why he didn't trust them.
+ I am judging Joe on how suspicious he was when he realised that his locker had been found. Just keep walking past! Why would you slow then turn around and then take a phone call right in sight? Then leave and then come back. Dude, you are better then this.
Episode 7 'This is Our Exit'
+ What I'm getting from this episode is that this entire heist is an elaborate revenge plot. Dianne's only family - her sister and niece - died in a car fire caused by a malfunction. She left a toy car in the safe when she stole Hawkes most important asset. He says she's trying to destroy him. He probably owns the company the built the car that killed them. Very likely he knew about the potential danger and covered it up. Or something like that. If true I am Team Dianne here.
+ I'm confused about the order in which the Killer went after everyone. You'd think that they'd have interrogated Gwen themselves considering that he was a known associate of Dianne's. It's like those least involved were targeted first though I guess it's probably the easiest to find?
+ Joe being so intimidating and harsh with and around Gwen's kids surprised me.
+ Them leaving the kids alone in the living room was dumb.
