Snuff by Terry Pratchett - A lot of people appear to have been disappointed by it so I was nervous when I started but I really liked it! I had a bit of an issue getting into it at first, a couple times it felt a bit too... lecturey, Sybil calling someone a bitch really took me aback and it felt like there were a lot less footnotes than usual and they're one of my favourite parts but other than that I had no issues. I thought this was a solid Discworld novel. Vimes was excellent and I loved what was done with the goblins and all the supporting cast.

Down to the Bone by Justina Robson - This is final book of the Quantum Gravity series. One important thing about this series, for me at least, is that you really can't leave any great distance between reading books because then it becomes really difficult to remember what is going on. Still even with that confusion I found this book to be overfull of talk and exposition. Despite both those things I actually did enjoy it. I also really loved the happy ending with everyone gathered at the Black house and Lila surrounded by her made-family. I love that the last lines were her riding off happily on her bike. I was a bit surprised but rather gleeful that the book ended firmly with Zal/Lila/Teazle together as husbands and wife. I liked how the story played out. This is a book series I'll probably buy at some point and then read the entire thing again only this time back-to-back.
