The Vampire Diaries Thoughts

A couple further thoughts on re-watch:
- I loved Damon's suicide scene, it was beautifully shot, and Stefan tackling him out of the sunlight and then locking him up. Oh, boys.
- I loved Stefan encouraging Elena to go see Damon and Elena's understanding that Stefan has to try to save his brother. ♥ I have all these feelings about these three. I can't wait till next season and Elena and Damon working together to save Stefan from Klaus and then from himself.
- The way Elena said “I like you now” stuck out even more this time. The way she said it so softly was almost like it was this closely guarded secret. I watched it a couple times and figured out what it reminds me of – the Casper movie when Casper whispers to a sleeping Kat “Can I keep you?” (or something similar).
- How exactly did Katherine get into the manor? She certainly wasn't invited in. Oops. Unless it's because Elena died? Even though she's currently alive and still owns the house? I really like the idea of the manor as a safe-house so if that's the reason does this mean that she'd have to have the house deeded to her again? Or do they have to sign it over to someone else for it to work again?
- I was surprised not to have Alaric bring up saving Jenna with her spell. Is there any reason why, beyond unexplained 'consequences' why she can't?
- Damon biting Elena didn't really bother me nor did her reaction. He was clearly out of his mind and didn't even realise it was her. Even in his delusion he wasn't even trying to hurt anyone but was instead just trying to be with Katherine forever.
- Caroline better not be banished from the main storyline again next year. I adored her and Stefan's friendship this season and I really want her to be a part of helping to save him.
