Chuck 5x08 Thoughts

+ I'm annoyed that for the second episode in a row Sarah is captured, tired up, tortured and has to be rescued. Also while she was really badass in her flashback her fight with Ryker at her mom's house was disappointing. She got the crap kicked out of her and then stabbed him in the back when he got distracted for a moment.
+ There was a lot of Sarah making bad decisions this episode. Starting with her not telling Chuck the truth. But also Sarah choosing to go down to the cafe (of course Ryker recognized her! She should have sent Chuck), Sarah ditching the guys to follow the note and Sarah being taken in by the crying.
+ Sarah putting the baby in her gun suitcase made me smile.
+ 'No quick fix for them'? They broke up. Morgan still not letting it ago is making me uncomfortable. So does Devon and Ellie getting involved, and even Casey suggesting to her that she take him back. So them getting back together at the end actually left me a little annoyed.
+ I did like Ellie's talk with Morgan - how supportive she was, her "you're a catch" and her advice that he needs to stop pushing. The advice was good and needed. And their relationship has come so far since the pilot.
+ Tim DeKay! It's weird seeing him as a bad guy though.
+ Wait, Sarah's mother? I can't remember her ever being mentioned before. It feels a little contrived for her to be brought up now. Also are we supposed to believe that she has lived in Burbank or close by this whole time?
+ I'm a little surprised that Sarah's mom raised Molly as her daughter. I was expecting her to raise Molly as her granddaughter instead with her telling Molly stories about her amazing 'mom' all her life. I was kind of expecting it to end with Sarah having a daughter not a sister.
