+ I have so many questions I'm not going to bother writing them down.
+ A whole episode with no Olivia. Seriously, show? So much the wrong direction to go in.
+ I liked Henrietta. It was pretty obvious that she was Olivia and Peter's daughter from the beginning so I don't know why they bothered to try and hide it. That actually just made it seem more obvious.
+ How the heck is William Bell alive again? Another universe? Based off the last episode I wonder if the amber/blue and red universes were collapsed together, as David Robert Jones wanted, creating a yet another reality (purple?) and in this reality Bell survived? I'm hoping not because seriously I love our characters and I hate when they die.
+ A whole new universe might explain these Observers who appear to be nothing like the ones we've known. What the hell was with that scene with the waitress at the beginning? And all Observes really are bald, white men?
+ I had pretty much the same reaction as Astrid when Walter revealed he cut off Bell's hand.
4x20 'World's Apart
I feel like I missed an episode or the episode order was wrong. I don't understand the point of the previous episode or it's placement in the season.
+ Does this mean no more red!verse? :(
+ This episode highlighted something I've been very disappointed in this show over - the lack of emotional follow-through on several key relationship - Peter/Walternate and Peter/red!Elizabeth mostly but also Oliva/Oliva. I can't believe that Peter just accepted losing contact with his birth world, possibly forever, without at least trying to contact his mother. He didn't go see her, he didn't ask if she could be brought to the bridge, he didn't even call her. I'm very annoyed with the show.
That said we did get some nice scenes - I liked the Olivia/Olivia scenes we did get, the Astrid/Astrid connection remains surprisingly loving and moving despite how little time they've been given (and I loved their wave goodbye).
The best interaction in the episode was the Walter/Walternate scene. That was pretty amazing and so well acted. I love how some actors, in situations like these, can make you completely forget it's only one person playing two characters (Anna Torv and TVD's Nina Dobrev also manage this all the time.)
+ I also loved the reveal that Walter thought there was a good chance that Peter would disappear if the bridge was closed (because Peter still hasn't shared with the class) and how very afraid he was of that and yet he still decided to do it. Despite what he told red!Broyles a couple eps back.
+ How the heck would Walter know that closing the bridge would stop the healing of the red!verse but not damage it further? And why would everyone just automatically believe him? Also how the hell would he know that they wouldn't be able to start the machine again? Almost everything Walter said in this episode basically came down to 'because I said so'.
+ Lincoln deciding to follow Peter's decision of 'home is where your heart is' with a meaningful look at red!Olivia made me frown a lot so apparently that ship is not happening for me. He's known that Olivia for how long? And he's willing to permanently switch universes? Eh, it bugs me.
+ I have a feeling this actually might be part of Jones's plan.
+ Okay, wait, so I'm confused: which Broyles is a shapeshifter? Are none of the Broyles shapeshifters?
